Since 2016 we've grown into a wonderfully supportive and dynamic community — a place where anyone, whatever their age or ability, can find their voice and the pure joy of singing together.
How it all began →You don't need to read music, and you certainly don't need to audition. You just need to fancy a sing.
Every age, every ability, every kind of voice. From the very first hello, you're one of us — no experience required.
Caroline's warm, expert coaching helps everyone sing healthily and confidently — you'll surprise yourself with what you can do.
We've raised thousands of pounds for local charities — proof that a room full of voices can do a world of good.
Our music reflects our shared love of singing and the joy it brings — uplifting, soul-stirring, and always a bit of fun.

Caroline — founder & leader
Caroline founded The Choir Engine in 2016, and it's blossomed into the supportive, joyful community it is today. A secondary music specialist by training, she has taught in schools across the globe — including Hong Kong and France — and led music tours to Barcelona, Prague, Krakow and Berlin.
Today Caroline is Director of Music at Durlston School in New Milton, guiding young musicians aged 4 to 16, and is an examiner for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM).
In 2023 she became a certified Vocal Balance teacher — an approach that puts vocal health first and helps every singer reach their full potential, whatever their background or experience.
Under her guidance the choir has raised thousands of pounds for local charities and given singers of all ages a welcoming place to belong.
That same year, The Choir Engine was named Best Choir at the New Milton Music Festival — recognition of a community that simply loves to sing, together.
Whether you've sung all your life or only ever in the shower, there's a place for you here. Say hello, come along, and see how good it feels to sing with a room full of friends.
