Caroline Moss

Caroline founded The Choir Engine in 2016, and it's blossomed into the supportive, joyful community it is today. A secondary music specialist by training, she has taught in schools across the globe — including Hong Kong and France — and led music tours to Barcelona, Prague, Krakow and Berlin.

Today Caroline is Director of Music at Durlston School in New Milton, guiding young musicians aged 4 to 16, and is an examiner for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM).

In 2023 she became a certified Vocal Balance teacher — an approach that puts vocal health first and helps every singer reach their full potential, whatever their background or experience.

Under her guidance the choir has raised thousands of pounds for local charities and given singers of all ages a welcoming place to belong.

That same year, The Choir Engine was named Best Choir at the New Milton Music Festival — recognition of a community that simply loves to sing, together.
